The Freedom of Choice in Health Care Act
Big Government and Big Hospitals want to control our health care decisions. They will say and do anything to defeat Prop. 101. Don't let them take away our health care choices.
Our poll
Do you believe people should have the right to be in control of their own health and health care? The cornerstone of health care reform must be the protection and preservation of the rights of people to make their own health care choices.
Without that protection, lobbyists and bureaucrats will create rules and regulations that make it harder and more difficult to get any health care without the approval and authorization of the government and special interests.
Neither those on the left nor those on the right will be able to enact any health care reform without bowing to pressure from the special interests that support them.
The Freedom of Choice in Health Care Act says simply, "Health care reform, yes, but PROTECT FREEDOM FIRST!"
On Tuesday Arizonans will vote on a ballot initiative that could resonate in the national debate over the future of health care. Proposition 101, the Freedom of Choice in Health Care Act, has set off a storm of opposition, though its language hardly seems controversial.
On Election Day, Arizonans can give the nation the gift of a good example. They can enact a measure that could shape the health-care debate that will arrest or accelerate the nation's slide into statism. Proposition 101, the Freedom of Choice in Health Care Act, would put the following language into Arizona's Constitution:
According to the latest Census Bureau report, Arizona's uninsured rate is the fourth highest in the nation. Today in Arizona, 19.6 percent of citizens go without health insurance, compared with a U.S. average of 15.3 percent.
Barack Obama wants America to adopt universal health care. John McCain wants you to go shopping for your own health-care plan, and then deduct the cost from your federal income tax bill.
